I'm sure we had something on the original report too.

Thanks Adrian. I remember reading the study but I'm sure we had one of our faintly silly conversations on the dietary aspects at some point  :) I also remember the fact that they borrowed their Dendra armour from the art department, who had made it as a metal-working project some years before.

Here it is.

Interestingly, this one starts with Imperial Dave quoting the Greek Reporter.  The AI at Greek Reporter must be struggling if they are reporting something they've already reported seven months before  ???

Hmmf. "Latest research indicates that it was possible to remain alive in the past. Volunteers were fed a diet of food available in the past and lived in controlled conditions replicating those of the past, and have demonstrated that it was in fact possible to live. 'This changes everything we thought we knew about the past', lead researcher Lois Formawit remarked. 'Human life was in fact possible in the past, despite everything we have long thought. This should settle an ages old controversy.'".

Also interesting that the link in the original post on 15.10.2024 now takes you to the 'current' post of 16.05.2025. Let's hope that the clever old AI has revised the original report with the latest available data. I too wouldn't like to think that the Greek Reporter is just re-posting old news as new.  ;)
