This is presumably the new book which is referenced;

The book link also mentions an online lecture in November which might be of interest!

This crosses several of our tabs so apologies if others think this not the right place.

If you have an interest in feudal or medieval Scotland, or Gaelic 'piracy', or castle and fort building in lochs then this should interest you.

First a BBC link that I guess has followed a publishers well laid down publicity trail.

see https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cz693e0zdqeo

Secondly if you want to know more here is the book in question (published by the Society of Antiquaries of Scotland, see

https://fellows.socantscot.org/shop/shop-product-details/?id=d652c6d8-a81b-f011-9989-00224841299d

The book is hardback report(s) giving details of the history, archaeology etc. Over 400 pages lots of illustrations and photos and £40 plus £3.95 P&P by royal mail in UK.

Enjoy

You can actually read the book online, it can be found in the Society's "Open Access" section.
