King Arthur and all that jazz

MUCH deliberation and rethinking has been done over the past few weeks. Apart from the output being a Slingshot article to bore readers to death with, the exercise in reevaluating the period in Britain circa 400 to 550 has been done in earnest. No logical reasons for the time frame other than down to the obits of the main players in the 'King Arthur' conundrum.

Yes, that old chestnut again. You know, you think you have it all in your head clear as mud and then it dribbles out of your ears like a Salvador Dali painting.

Well this time I've written it down. No messing about with trying to squeeze a few coppers out of a book. Ive done it in a few pages (ish).

The trick now is to type it out from the scribbles in my notebook and hope it still makes sense.
