Is it just me or can anyone else see the markings of a hex grid in the foreground?

No, square grid. Clearly for training and since they all read the tacticians they would know that changing direction in 90 degree increments wouldn't work on hexes. 8)

Easy mistake to make, but they are actually to keep the locals off
