A very wide net here but interesting read.
I don't have chapter and verse to hand but I have read poems and stuff that suggest the moon is a perfect sphere/disc. Clearly it isn't and it wasn't at any time in human history. I have often wondered if this is simple poetic licence or a result of uncorrected short sight? ??? Possible surely.
