More medieval wordery...
A word of warning on these.
There aren't a hundred because a couple are in twice. Also, Canadian English seems to be slightly different to UK English. So, words like rest, host, wit still retain the alleged obsolete meaning in UK English. Bark (a boat), bark (of a tree) and bark (as in dog) are different words that are spelled the same but have different etymologies. The modern meaning of harbinger comes from the medieval term for a billeting officer. The first sign of the approach of an army were it's harbingers, looking to take over properties and choose camp sites.
So, fascinating but annoyingly error prone, IMO.
Perhaps AI had a hand in writing this, Anthony? You might be surprised to see the quantity of AI "written" articles.

May well have done, though I usually expect a little more editorial input from this team. I confess I do find it hard to spot the difference between AI generated content and hack journalism ::)
Me too :P
Maybe there isn't a difference?
