Oldest sentence written in an alphabetic script, that is. The oldest sentences written in cuneiform and hieroglyphics are about a millennium older.

Very erudite slogan.  One might imagine they should have inscribed something more direct like "Die, filthy parasites!"

Oh, I remember sitting there, Derbac comb in one hand and squirming child in the other, saying just this.  Finds like this certainly humanise the past.  :)
