This publication (http://www.nature.com/articles/nature16477.epdf?referrer_access_token=8_PMiZZPzTI8IXIUbX12fdRgN0jAjWel9jnR3ZoTv0PAIwkAzho9qL3jGwTvR7deCp37lljpjfKQsmSyyzaczGe_6BiZI49U2Ux7dUO_79V8X-yg2-emtS55e71cnCD88cMy1desl99WGm4JhiT9GOzpp6mvF3evaR7GBeDMCm4%3D&tracking_referrer=www.bbc.co.uk) in Nature magazine features what looks like the remains of a clan wiped out by warfare at Nataruk, lake Turkana, Kenya c.10,000 BC.

The discovery of weapon points in some of the skeletons brought the numerous authors to this collaborative conclusion.
