Good: as it says in the article, historians had been searching Anglesey for signs of Roman occupation without success: this should be the first in a series of discoveries - if people can intuit where to look.
It was obvious that there must have been something there but proof is in the pudding as they say! :)

A first early find certainly. IIRC Holyhead has a well preserved late Roman fortlet.
It is interesting that the present day road is located very near to the position of what would be the gate to the fort. If there are other forts they might be located along the road leading from the gate
thats a very good point Will. I have spent a lot of time tracing roman roads in and around South Wales and found a particular fort near Brecon (Y Gaer) is a kind of junction point for many roads leading to other forts and fortlets in the area.
