The Turfan Uighurs show up in Central Asian Turkish DBA lists, including three elements of spearmen.
Anyone have any idea what these guys might have looked like? My WRG Armies of the Dark Ages doesn't seem to show the foot...
I don't think there is any hard evidence available, but Khurasan's version (https://khurasanminiatures.com/cat-foot-spear.jpg) is probably as good as anyone's guess.
