Saw that a couple of days ago but was too busy to post.  Interesting question would be if his ethnicity can ever be determined - Polish, Pomeralian, or even Teutonic Order, given Gdansk's history at the turn of the 13th and 14th centuries.  Given the weight placed on the "Danzig Massacre" by nationalist historians, could become quite political...
