I am sure that this will be an interesting project to follow.  As well as reassembly of the original vessel, it is to be hoped that at some stage a reconstruction will be attempted.  This would nicely fill the gap between, say, the Olympias trireme and Golden Hinde reconstructions produced during the last 50 years.

Incidentally, anyone in the right vicinity who would like to help with restoration of old ships might be interested in the West Wales Maritime Heritage Society.  One does not require a background in shipbuilding in order to join, but a familiarity with woodworking would certainly help.
