the title made me laugh a bit. I was minded to imagine a couple of toga wearing individuals being found in a secluded wood cut off from time for 2000 years and asking who the emperor was these days (in latin naturally)

Not knowing that "Monks Eleigh" was a placename, my first thought was that monks were storing Romans in their eleigh, whatever that is.
