It has to be said, it would be difficult to link something to one particular Moses. Sinai was in the 'main' one's back story, but mining wasn't. Still in forty years working with sheep and/or goats he had time to fit in all sorts of things.

The dates for this, assuming they're correct, are on the early side for the main Moses. The earliest date of birth suggested is apparently just after 1600BC and between 1400 and 1200BC approx seem favoured
