I saw this in the Graun - https://www.theguardian.com/science/2021/feb/19/when-mullets-rocked-figurine-suggests-ancient-britons-favoured-hairstyle if you don't fancy the Telegraph's paywall. But is it really a mullet? Surely it's too short at the back?

Designed to fool Roman's...  Cofax and Filofax walk backwards towards them, and Publius and Licinius think: 'hey, those guys are here to party' and drop their guard - then they turn around and it's all business like and death-dealing...
