Title: 7th Century high status A-S burial unearthed in York

amazing find and since dated to 7th Century very interesting on the context of it being York and apparently an A-S burial

and on that note I am off to kick down my back fence so I can go looking for buried treasure......

Not convinced two dead sheep and an "Owen was 'ere" grafeto (sp?) quite qualifies as 'treasure'...
