The Guardian version at https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2026/jan/12/newly-discovered-port-talbot-pompeii-may-have-been-roman-centre-for-agriculture doesn't tell us much more than the BBC one, but does say explicitly that they're not quite sure of the dating yet:

Lady wife and I were discussing this.
Yet another villa in the South East is nice but a major villa in Port Talbot area is genuinely interesting and we might learn something about the Romanisation of the 'periphery' that we didn't know.
