You'd think a magazine called "Popular Mechanics" would realise why "mountaintop rivers" aren't actually a thing...

Subscribing to the emails and reading the 'articles' in 'PopMech' is one of the things that cheers me up, and reinforces many popular beliefs about 'mericans  :)

As per the survey referred to, it's detailing historic and prehistoric sites across mountainous areas...
The 573 are previously missed large sites.
