Stunning site
Last time I was there before the excavations started but yes, stunning
I need to go up there again, I find the sites there absolutely facinating.
An area on my bucket list...

Honestly, Dave, it is a genuinely remarkable prehistoric site. You've got standing stones at either end and you look across the fields to Maes Howe in the middle distance. Orkney has some great archaeology in general not just Neolithic.
Although its part of Britain its a tad too far for the moment.
The report is clearly hype from the Time Team marketing department so I'd expect it to be underwhelming when finally revealed.
An underground feature that is later than the rest of the site? Probably a septic tank...
Oh poo.... :(
