The Sandi Toksvig archaeology vehicle on (UK TV channel) More4 this week was getting highly latrinal too, at Chesters fort and various other spots in Northumberland earlier this week. Something in the air, perhaps...

I did find it amusing that Sandi managed to dig a short rib of beef out of the sewer channel. Obviously, a Roman army latrine was not just a sociable space but somewhere to eat lunch  :o
